I took this photograph while working in Washington, D.C. This photo assignment took me all over the city, photographing several buildings that have changed over the years. I noticed these gentlemen securely dangling from the side of this building, cleaning the windows. I imagine most people on the street would likely pass by without seeing or glance up with the thought of, "Wow, glad that's not me." (guilty)
There's a lot that goes into maintaining a city. There are many jobs that many people wouldn't think of or would refuse to do. But I think it's important to be thankful, especially for what people do that go unseen or unappreciated by most.
